The Craft Journey

Sculpted with Thousands of Needled Knots

The YinYang design is an exploration of contrast, weight, and stillness. Rather than using surface prints or flat machine embroidery, we execute the white silhouette through thousands of individual French knots.

Each knot requires looping mercerized pure cotton thread three times around a fine crewel needle before driving it through the 280 GSM cotton canvas with uniform tension. The resulting motif is deeply three-dimensional, possessing a plush, tactile loop pile that invites touch.
